Hi xtimus i just wanted to say thank you for this glitch. im playing normal single player so cant do ladder runewords so countess just dropped a um rune and that was all i needed so i made a stone out of a kraken armor i found that had over 1200 armor so now it have 4700 armor 😀 its insane!! cant make fortitude tho so that kind of suck

13. My theory of this glitch. When this set of recipe came out. The recipe for upgrading unique items had bad glitch upping ethereal version of them would remove the ethereal bonus and input a random defense. When they patched it, it effected all ethereal item in cube recipes. so consequently adding ethereal socket or upping a ethereal unique adds an ethereal bonus. Fixed one but add additional ethereal to the socket one. fun. but someone already explained it

15. hey why cant i play on windows 7? i just got the game again and cant play for some reason, i go to load the game and it just sits at a black screen

20. has Blizzard fixed this bug on their servers? I'm playing on a private server that fixed this bug, but created another bug, that the armors always come out with 4 sockets…

23. all this time i thought it was just another cube recipe since i got it straight from blizzards website… never knew i was being sneaky and bugging items?

25. I'm pretty sure that eth bug thing is not really a bug. Why would it require two runes and a perfect gem to do it? It's just a "hidden" recipe. There are some of those.

26. Omg I didn't know about this after playing for almost a year now! After seeing this, i quickly cubed my 600 def balrog skin and boom! 4 sockets 1k def. Placed the runes immediately and wow it jumped to 3k defense. Thank you so much for this!

30. It gains again 50% defense bonus… It is a known bug. I think blizz is happy with this bug.

37. I cant make eth bugged armor in my game… could someone tell me why??

38. It was a bug initially that Blizzard decided to keep in the game and build on, so once a bug that became a feature I guess. 🙂
