The Diablo 1 HD mod Belzebub, not only allows you to play Diablo 1 on modern resolutions but also adds in a bunch of extra features — taken from Diablo 2 — making it for some, arguably better than Diablo 3. You’ll only get to see a small piece of the experience this ‘new’ Diablo game has to offer but if it intrigues you, then do not hesitate to get the mod and go back to the original Tristram, before saturated colors, before retcons.
UPDATE: Since I posted this video, both Diablo and its Hellfire expansion have become available on GOG. Quite an unexpected turn of events since there have been no rumors of this what-so-ever. So now you don’t have to get a copy of Diablo from some dubious source, you can get the actual thing DRM free, spectacular!

Ahh the proper Diablo game of my youth (wow I'm not even 30, so old :P). I did play some Diablo 2, but it was never as awesome as diablo 1 for some reason, although the running etc was great. I kinda hated the Save&Exit feature cause everything on the map would respawn when you loaded the game again. Still, Diablo 2 was a great game.
Diablo 1 was the shit (and even Hellfire — that intro was scary as all hell, I remember playing it on an old pc with my back turned to the door, with no one at home, the chanting stuff was sorta scary hehe)
Diablo 1 also known as the "SPAM POTION" game. Going into that Diablo fight with 3/4 of inv full of HP pots. 😀 The voice acting was brilliant in Diablo 1.

Cheers, there are no mods really for Diablo 1, so its better than no mods.
take the diablo 1 ui add to diablo 3 and remove the diablo 3 ikea catalogue interface enable the same resolution and mousewheel zooming allow offline and lan to it and you fixed diablo 3
I've tried this mod and tried to run it multiple times and each time whether it be a new downloaded or the original extraction i can seem to get it running, the system says it is missing diab dat.mpq to run, i also purchased hellfire from GOG and it runs perfect. any help or suggestions ? Great video, i'll definitely be watching more .
