I decided try to switch to iron golem. Clay have most HP from all golems and can slow down monsters. Clay golem + decrepify and bosses almost cant move. Baal for example cant teleport and spam his clone. Iron golem from Insight have meditation aura. It can also be made from beast or pride runeword, but there is risk of losing high runes, if u or your golem dies. U also cannot reset your skill points anymore. I recommend do this in later game when u got higher level and gear. U can stay with clay golem and switch later. Clay works great also.
