  1. I was a great Barb a long time ago… Now that I've finished my service, listening to my favorite theme again, nostalgia hits hard. Must… Not… Return…

  2. past present and future . this song explains all about my life . passion for gaming , fantasy elements and my dreams ….. dreams that i dont want to wake up !

  3. "The first time I saw a witch, she burned."

Adria's first journal with this music fluttering was the highlight of Diablo III for me.

  4. I once got this track combined with a completely dark version of the Act III battlefield. It made me feel like I was in an eternal land that will never wake from its slumber.

  5. Sounds a lot like this:
TRON: Legacy (Original Soundtrack) — Solar Sailer — by Daft Punk et al.
The two pieces share a very similar theme, rhythm and architecture.
I still wonder if this is really a coincidence or maybe there's more to it.

  6. In my opinion, one of the few soundtracks in Diablo 3 that can be compared with Diablo and Diablo 2 ost. This, A Mortal Heart and a maybe another couple.

  7. I will always remember how I lose my shit hearing this in my headphone while playing…
I immediatly call my girlfriend, hook up loud speakers, let go my controller and sit back with her…we both stay silent…listenning…amazed…
    Very impressive piece of art…

  8. Meh, it is good but, it doesn't feel like diablo music. Too clean, loud and polished. Soundtracks in previous parts were made, for the most part, ambient with little isles of intense intentionaly dirty music which boosted atmosphere of the zones, since it couldn't be made with just graphics.

  9. This song conveys to me exactly what the title says — evil could not be prevented, as much as we tried, it happened. A descent to darkness is in order. And now we see it coming to be once again, a cycle that will only end with the end of the universe.

  10. One of the best game soundtracks ever.
Reminds me of many global problems and issues that seem to be never solved, and it drives me down to the deep dissonance of happy and joyful feelings I have felt so far.

It also leads me to imagine a person or group of people in deep contemplation, finally matchmaking to decide something that will change 'the world' drastically.

    Very good soundtrack!

  11. Had been hunting through the Diablo osts for this since hearing it used in the Nintendo Direct promoting it!

  12. Makes me wonder if we're going to see any resolutions to some of the D3 characters in Diablo4. Kormac and Eirena? Lyndon and his brother's wife? Shen and Dirges? What happened with the Nephelem after the defeat of Malthael? Why did heaven close its gates? Questions I hope are all answered.

  13. Say what you want about gameplay, design difficulty or whatever, the Blizzard audio team is still aces. This piece was and remains amazing to kill monsters to.

  14. This theme is more fit to be in act 4 as you enter a losing corrupted heaven and having to put an old friend out of his misery…
