This is a video guide to making a basic paladin deck in Blizzard’s collectible card game, Hearthstone. This deck is ideal for new players who want to be able to perform reasonably well using nothing but the basic cards that are unlocked simply by leveling up a class to level 10.

  1. When using just basic cards, I really think paladin sucks.  I've also tried mage and priest, and my winrate with them is above 60% or so.  On paladin, it's around 30%.  Guess paladin isn't f2p friendly.

  2. guys pls help me, i can't defeat a shadow priest he allways takes my cards and destroys everyone with 3 attack or less, and destroys minions with 5 attack or higher

  3. I deleted a previous comment about Blessing Of Kings, but this deck has a very low survival rate and you will be lucky to win any games with it. The problem is there are no taunt cards that force your opponent to attack them instead of you. I just took this deck out and tried it and went 3/3 losses. Point made. I just don't see how this deck is good at all except for putting a lot of minions on the board which get wiped out before you can even ramp them up with the support cards. Its a bad deck and maybe its just my play-style but I didn't get anywhere with it.

  8. Thanks a lot man. I Just couldn't find a good cheap Deck for pally. Now i have one 😉 also i changed it a bit : replaced 1 novice engineer with a knife juggler ,replaced 1 hand of protection for a leper gnome , also put a mogu'shan warden and a sunwalker (for the taunt problem)in the Deck. it really works!! Keep doing the good stuff!!

  10. THIS DECK IS SHIT!!!!!!

    I'm sorry dude maby i'm doing somthing wrong but it just does not WORK!
    It has 0 removal except the consecration and the hammer of wrath!
    Again maby it is me but i get this with every single game… i run out of cards and then you are stuck and the enemy fucks you in the butt!
    So thank you for the deck but i'm gonna stick with my: druid,warlock,mage and priest deck!
    You did help me with the: druid,warlock,mage and priest decks so thanks for that!

  21. Nice vid man 🙂 I pegged Paladin as my favourite the moment I started the game. The deck I first built was actually very similar to the one you displayed here, and man, I know just how frustrating it is to get those sort of matchups when you're running basic 🙁

  25. Shamans do the whole poop tons of minions out thing better because most totems have 2 health and are not mage-fodder, you can even get a taunt totem which is pretty handy and they also have much better buffs to turn tons of weak creatures into a steamroller.
    Hex is also a pretty vital removal card, the paladin doesn't really have anything in his basic cards to deal with giant creatures that have tons of health so if you focus on pooping out dinky little creatures, one big creature your pumped up weaklings can't remove in 1 go will completely destroy you.

  26. I use this build and opponent easy win on me in first game, it isnt good build. No heal, no taunt.

  28. Thanks Bog! Great Deck! If you are planning on giving more guidance for beginners, could you do an episode where you explain on how to upgrade deck cards etc. without having to change the whole play style? Thanks.

  30. hi man i really liked ur tutorials and the basic druid helped me a whole lot
    i have a question about this deck though why no add the humility card to decrease nemy minion damage?
    it saved my skin a bunch of times
