Hearthstone: The Lich King with a 480 Dust Warlock Deck

In this video we take on The Lich King, the final boss of the Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion for Hearthstone, with a Warlock deck that costs 480 dust to craft!

Strat TL;DR Get Fledgling on board, protect it with spells and minions, while buffing it by attacking. Fledgling has 2 required buffs — Windfury and Liquid Membrane (can’t be targeted by enemy spells/hero powers).

Mulligan: Vicious Fledgling, Voidwalker, Knife Juggler, and Bilefin Tidehunter.

Cards to Add: Better value early/agro minions, or any spells you may have to help the Fledgling, such as Flame Imp, Possessed Villager, Darkbomb, or Implosion. If you want to remove the duplicates (which I actually don’t recommend but it may be more up some people’s alley), you can put in Kazakus, or Reno Jackson too.

Cards to Remove: Dread Infernal as it costs a lot and doesn’t make that much of an impact. River Crocolisk, Murloc Raider, and Magma Rager could all be replaced by better minions with similar cost.

  2. This deck is not really playable, luckiest as possible. Anyway thanks for you ideas and vids (so I give a like)
    Here is a similar (bit more expensive) deck I beat him after round 9 (also very lucky, though both Fledgling were immediately killed! Both double cards were in my starting hand, so I got no damage)!
    I added only one epic (Sea giant which could be replaced by a Frostwolf Warlord, I indeed used him to reach round 9, to be detailed, the Knife Juggler killed The Lich King ^^)

  5. I've been using these decks to beat him, and they're great! BUT HOLY FUCK IS MY LUCK HORRENDOUS, 9/10 VAL'KYR SHADOWGUARD WILL GET MY VICIOUS FLEDGELING OUT OF 4-6 MINIONS KMS

  18. after 20 tries finally did it cant complain if you got shitty cards and still want beat lich king plus i did it without knife juggler and bitefin tidehunter, also play a taunt at turn 6 will increase chance for LK play the black knight rather than blizzard

  23. Beat him on my 3rd try using this deck. It's mainly down to luck but a few extra cards like wretched tiller,swordsmith guy and deathlord helped me steamroll him.

  24. my lich king is a fucking god turn 1 coin glacial shard always, turn 2 zombie, turn 3 kill fledgling with obliterate always turn 4 that thing that summons 2 1-1s turn 6 always blizzard

  25. The fact that you have 70 packs that you refuse to open bothers me. What use do they have sitting there?

  27. TIP: Lich always have blizzard at top deck for T6, so i've used gnomeferatu to remove
    also i´ve played one of my two power overwhelming at T7 but it beated Lich anyways

  33. After a lot of time trying to beat Lich King, with all heroes, finally I won with this warlock deck. Thanks! But, in this deck, is more "lucky based" than skills, because depends more of the Lich King's deck.

  36. defetead with mage and warlock with only vicious fledgeling crafted (rest is all default cards).
    and done with priest with all default cards.

    only need more 6 heroes now xd
