This is the expansion for Diablo 1 called…Hellfire. It was released in 1997 by Sierra. In this first video we show off a little of the new monk class and then take out our veteran sorcerer to explore The Hive.

i have a lvl 20 somtin sorcerer with najs light plate, increases spells 1 level, an awesome full helm of sorcery plus magic, and an arch-angel staff of fireball, which brings spells up 2 levels. I would convert it to hellfire but NEVER without my stuff. He is a bad ass
apocalyspe is the best skill i dunno why u didnt use it its fucking useless it gruge mana but u kill alls in 2 hits !

Hellfire was developed by Sierra Entertainment, not by Blizzard (strangely). And it was released in late 1997, half a year before Starcraft. So I don't think your theory holds up to the facts 😉

@gerodekeyser Yes you'll still be able to access the Hive…I believe you need to be lvl 15+ before he gives you the rune bomb to destroy the the entrance.

Everytime i try to record it with fraps or many other recording software it never works…

you entered the command text, if you enter the command text you only miss out on the optic amulet.
theres a platform in hellfire which allows you to transfer items, it's in the crypts

I remember taking the rune bomb from Lester, blowing up the hive entrance, and then edited the command text file before finishing Lester's quest! Guess what happened?
The Complete Nut replaced Lester, and I could finish neither the Farmer's Orchard or the Jersey's Jersey. You should finish one quest or the other.

I wonder if the idea behind the "Hive" was to make an attempt for a StarCraft crossover (with the creatures in the Hive being some Zerg offshoot)… At any rate, this really doesn't fit well into the Diablo universe.
