In this video, I show you how to get Diablo 2 And the Lord of destruction expansion up and running at full speed on the Raspberry pi 4!
This is pretty awesome and a lot of older windows games are coming like Half-life and starcraft!
A big Thanks to Pi Labs for providing the instruction on how to get Diablo 2 running on the Pi4!

  1. ETA PRIME, would this same method work for other win32 games? I'm interested in playing Ephinea's Phantasy Star Online on a Raspberry Pi.

  2. Hey ETA Prime. Really enjoying the content! If I prefer the DS4 controller over the Xbox controllers, would you still recommend against it? I see most of the time you use the Xbox controller. I'm mostly interested in N64 emulation. Thanks!

  3. Great vid as always. I remember playing this game with my son and nephew on network play on our home network. Will network play work with this? Still waiting for the Pi prices to come down a little.

  4. Hi!!! It would be very nice to watch a video of you testing these mini computers things running 2 and 3 screens virtual pinballs emulators! 🙂

  5. oh also, how do I install my own version of mame into the pie and get it to work and show up on emulation station? thanks a ton, u da man!

  6. file for the diablo 2 please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am a DIABLO 2 player REMASTERING the game pleaseeeeee

  7. I know there's some configuration to force wine into the resolution you want, including fullscreen without messing the OS configuration. I'm waiting for my rp4 to arrive and I will definetly test this.

  8. As I remember most games around the age of Diablo 2 were designed for resolutions up to 1024×768. There were often higher resolution monitors supported which would have run at 1280×1024. Personally, I think that the latter would be a better fit for most modern 1080p monitors. No matter the resolution mode though, it would be better for the game to have blank spaces on either side rather than run full screen (stretched) as it was designed for 4×3 monitors.

  9. I would love to see you cover a few more videos from pi labs. it's easier to fallow you I think do to the language barrier there.

  10. Hi guys I'm in trouble with "wine requires a 3g/1g kernal memory split" issue, please help me to get rid of this isse

  11. Awesome tutorial! And Pi Labs has done some great work, can you make a tutorial on installing Morrowind on the pi 4?

  12. how would one do this with gentoo on a pi4, i'm so naive with gentoo but chose it over raspabian cause 64x vs 32x

  13. So Raspberry Pi 4 is the first ever computer that required a cooling upgrade just to play Diablo 2.

  14. when i go to tools, open current folder in terminal i can't right click and paste i have to press shift and insert the game does load so frustrating

  15. I'm getting…wine: cannot find L "C:\windows\system32\libd2game_sa_arm.exe.so"…..I placed each file in the same locations as was described in the video

  16. When I go to launch….wine tells me to terminate application…and the terminal tells me d2data.mpq: error 131: ERROR #131….any help?

  17. I have the 1GB system and when I try to use the winecfg command it is telling me that Wine requires a 3G/1G user/kernel memory split to work properly. Am I able to do this since I don't have the 4GB model?

  18. Do you just use your folder that Diablo 2 was installed in on your pc? Are there particular files you need?
