  1. For the 'coming of age' film genre' this movie [for me] stands as the best one I've seen thus far. The films ability to capture the realism of the societal angst of being a member of the LGBTQ+ community within the greater community is exceptional. It is definitely not a 'perfect Hollywood coming out story'!!!

The truth of the behind closed door terror that some have to endure and how damaging that can be to the overall out come of ones psyche is pin point accurate.
To be so forthright and honest about the issues between a straight dude and a gay dude and how difficult it can be differentiating between two different types of love is the first time I have ever seen this so accurately explained in film. This gets to the 'heart' of why so many 'straight men' have difficulties with 'gay men' and vice versa.

This film is totally truthful with the reasoning as to why LGBTQ+ youth are [as reported] to be 4 times more likely to attempt suicide than straight teens.
It is my opinion, this film is critically [the most] important film for opening the page in the book of life on how we all impact on one another's life's…..especially on how 1 simple and well intended comment can trigger a suicide attempt.

The only downside to this film is the lack of ability of this to be viewed. The difficulties in putting together 10 min clips here and there and finding poorly pirated copies in foreign languages makes for a really tough go to get a grasp of the importance of this film….however it is worth the trouble….it is my dream though, to see a legal copy in 4k, in its Icelandic language with english sub titles……hopefully one day…….
The importance of this film is such that this needs to be made easily available on all streaming services around the world in its Icelandic language with the appropriate sub titles………THIS IS A MUST!!!!
