how exactly people belive that council is a meme when its a 1 mana play that buff every card in your hand +2/+2 and transform your spells into minions that also get buffed? XD

It doesnt matter even before or after the card is played. Becouse if you have 8 cards, you play one draw one and then the 8 clause resolves.

I don't get how the dark portal works. It costs 4 mana and draws a minion , if you have at least 8 cards it costs 5 less … so what ? It costs -1 mana then ?
