  1. Cool vid. Ty for sharing Moldran! Never played any other diablo since diablo 3 but it looks as if the older ones were fun!

  2. Good video, I actually learned something new about the franchise.

    Hope you're doing good IRL.

  3. The gamer that can't play games (other than diablo) is back. Finally. I got bored with the variety.

  4. What about Jay Wilson and the real money auction house?
They deserve some love too.. Kappa

  5. Before the actual game came out, there were de m o versions in computer magazines comming out ( yeah no internet so easily accessible like novadays). There was only level 2 accessible. Only with warrior and it was only level. My friends and I used loads of time to try to keel butcher and finally cleared whole dungeon level completely, sold all stuff bought best bow anf stuff and woth hit n run tactics we killed the butcjer in like 20minites epic fight — with pants full of shit:) I knew back tjen that this will be one of my best games.

  6. d3 gameplay: drop sentries and hide in corner.
every character looks exactly the same. same stats, same build, same gear (set items)…no trading / economy, bind on account, difficulty scales only in more dmg and hp, no pvp, unavoidable one hit mechanics, server down every week, major gamebreaking exploit with every new patch..the list goes on and on. anways d3 is for WoW players as a filler between expansion packs. PoE is for d2 fans

  7. I would like to say that people didn't get mad if you killed the cow king. Only after one of the later patches. I don't remember which one exactly. But that is when killing the king didn't allow you to open anymore.

  8. Then they announced D3, when out, people saw a pile of shit, and even later in RoS 2.1, its still a pile of shit i didnt play in months 😀

  9. Great to see you are using our Diablo 1 PvP-Tournament footage 🙂 Seems like there are still people following the D1-PvP scene which still exists after about 18 years.

  10. Diablo 1 = Diablo 1
    Diablo 2 = Diablo 1 with improvement
Diablo 3 = Gauntlet Legends with improvement.

Those who still post in Blizzard forum are those who are left.
    I didnt post anymore.
You want to see how exact numbers of player who still played this game?
Wait for the next expansion. And see how much it sold.
I bought Reaper of Soul because i expect it to fix Diablo 3.
But it just don't. The core elements are flawed to far.

  11. Very well documented video of the history of Diablo, good job. We should never forget these epic games from that not less epic age…good times indeed.

  12. I love this review, and I've played the franchise for over 10 years, and even had the "wacky" Hellfire Diablo 1 expansion. I loved the series too much, and when Diablo 3 came out, I felt conned and shammed from it's predecessors having more interesting content and story telling. Diablo 3 at best is still good, but I hope they continue adding more content to it and dynamics such as runewords or something that doesn't feel boringly grindy to get to greater rift 40. Diablo 2 in my opinion IS the best point and click game ever made. 9.8/10 IMHO. Let's hope Blizzard continues to improve D3.

  13. Really nice video!  So many memories in those 2 games, especially in finding new ways to beat that damn Butcher!  Some nice tidbits I never knew in here too, like the Diablo MMO.  Thanks!

  14. diablo 3 is ruined now with their greater rifts now its so boring and it feels like just grinding instead of having fun

  15. I will always stick to diablo ! I remember playing it as a kid, buying the Diablo II game with my saved up money for good drages in school ….haha good old days 😀

  16. Love the video man. I am also a Diablo veteran going all the way back to D1, and it really is the only game series I have ever loved. I can only imagine how cool a Diablo MMO would have been with the original Blizzard North guys making it.

  17. yea you guys are blind, the D3 blizzard north was working on before they got shut down looked horrible, i will take vanilla D3 over that anyday. and this is coming from a guy who spent years on D2.

  18. Diablo II LOD is still the best out of all the diablo games only wish it would play good on my wide screen rig i have to play it on an old pc lol but its still amazing fun i run the BF Mod on it great fun

  19. I like diablo 3 , and Diablo 2 definitely kept me locked away for so much of my teen years ,.. but hearing that music at the end of your video …… man Diablo 1 .. was just magical in a way kids that have tons and tons of games will just never understand… great video .. thanks for the nostalgia

  20. A year ago today you posted this video and I just ran into it for the first time, I wanted to say "Thank You!!"

It was a wonderful trip down memory lane for me, bringing back the hundreds upon hundreds of hours that I sank into the first two Diablo games, and am starting to sink into the third. While good, I don't think that 3 will ever capture the same magic for me that 2 had, I still fondly remember some of those places like it was yesterday, though I haven't played the original Diablo in quite awhile. I remember, as you said, the first time I was brutally murdered by The Butcher, and thought 'how unfair!' and immediately dove right back in on my quest to kill him back.

I remember in Diablo two, having some of the most fun I've ever had in any game with my Necromancer, wave after wave of death at the enemy, and the music was just…magical. Again, thank you for dredging up some long buried memories and putting a smile on my face after a very long day at work.

  21. Great veideo, I was looking for it! But your German accent is awfull…
