  1. had a random thought when watching your vid.. Season theme: Can use the armory once per GR.

  2. I had a set idea involving revive/army of the damned. I always thought army of the dead was a very cool looking skill visually, and would hope to see it more. The mechanic could be something like using revive buffs army of the dead (like you are building your army thru the rift). Then you can pop army of the dead for big damage on an elite or something. It could be like "each monster revived adds +%bonus and -%value cooldown to army of the dead for the remainder of the rift."

  3. My idea of a Necro set is based on Life regen, Life per hit, VIT, bleed, heal from pots… Basically, the mechanic is like Thorns but doing Bleed damage instead. The more life regen, life per hit, heal from pot bonus, etc, the more bleed damage necro deals against monsters. And instead of scaling the damage per INT, the damage scales per VIT. It will be very tanky

    Then introduce an item that allows infinite stacks of bleeding while buffing bleed damage.

  4. The revive set idea was really cool and instresting, atleast on paper, implementing it might be a different story but overall it is a cool and original playstyle that the game defenetly needs

  5. A revive necro set that uses a style like "head-hunter" or like you said building a beast would bring so many people back .I know myself I would love too see that. Great job this season its been fun watching in quarantine .

  6. maybe add another affix for bloodtide blade would be you get % damage buff per enemy you kill or a new off hand that gives scaling damage stacks per enemy killed so you can burst huge mobs down and have a resonating damage from killing all those units allowing you to kill elites etc ?

  7. army of the dead too. I know it is a part of Rathma set, but it deals zero dmg) Aslo bone spear is Pestilence, but bad designed.
    Necro has a lot of problems to be honest. I dislike that all his sets have the same pieces, so no combination at all. May be they can add smth cool like amulet+belt+philactery+bracer set, that will not have huge dmg multiplier, but will boost other sets or solve the problem with huge cdr skills, give some CC immune or smth like that. Necro needs some legendary bracers too 🙂

  8. I want a blood rush set that everything revolves around blood rush dmg so you just use it like sweeping wind and you teleport around everywhere and everything you rush through dies imagine how fast that would be …

  9. every necro build to me is too squishy. some dmg reduction would be awesome to add on all the sets.

Grotesque Amalgam set — 2 pc minions created with mask of scarlet death last indefinitely, 4 pc casting revive with a revived minion summoned adds up to 10 nearby corpses to the existing minion, 6 pc revived minions duplicate all primary and secondary spells, and if they hit the same target they take 1000% more damage

    New legendary — Fragment of Iron, minions revived with mask of scarlet death inherit 10000% thorns from necromancer

  11. I can smell it, next patch is gonna be extremely inventive!!!

    I'd bet my ass on it: A set designed around Land of the Dead (and Simulacrum) that ofc relies on something else added — instead of sets which are designed around "something else" and relying on Land of the Dead (and Simulacrum). Ofc, the set bonus will be utterly undertuned so other Necromancer sets won't be ludicrous outdated.

    We will also get new legendary powers added to some items. Chosen slots for these will be the usual 6 set slots, rings and weapon. 2 weeks after launch the new forum CM will have to post a thread about their slight misjudgment by not applying any of the new legendary powers to bracers, which is why Necromancers will have to remain as class without even 1 class specific bracer and stuck on bracers like Nemesis, Lacuni, Parthan Def., … and such.

    P.S.: DH set theme will be about Rain of Vengeance eventhough Natalya actually already filling that spot and Natalya actually just requiring some tuning changes to enable RoV as centric dps ability on it.
    They will excuse themselves with the same reasoning they used on Valor set for being actually focused around Heaven's Fury eventhough there already did use Heaven's Fury in the past or like for Monk's new set boosting a skill by slightly less than a current set does boost this same ability already: ….. oh wait, they didn't admit that and kept silent about it.

    They will also fix the connection and login issues they did tackle the past 2? 3? patches. Issues will still exist afterwards, but it looks nice on the PTR changes list.

    S21 Seasonal Theme: Social Distancing.
    Not just some few enemies will now decide to run away from the player, instead all enemies will behave like that while trying to flatten the curve.

  12. I'd like to see a corpse explosion set. Also I'd like to see a buff to the bone armor set without buffing the necro thornes. I just want my lazy-mancer bone armor build to be viable above gr70.

  13. how about a golem version :> like a gargantuan(short man finger)spawn 2-3 + 800% dmg — Inna like set spawn 10-15 Golems 2-3 for each rune and 6-8% dmg reduction for each golem and 1200-1500 extra dmg/golem …. and some dmg on the golemskins breachers (pants) dmg reduction 30% and like 500% extra dmg so you can have at least 2 multipliers for the golems 😀

  14. The problem I have is the necro was clunky from day 1. Lancer, mage, thorns, and nova can be played on all 4 sets. Making a bone spear teeth into a set is pointless. Just buff pestilence so it’s actually useful. Bone Speared enemies drop 10 addition corpses when they are hit. You know so you don’t have to rely on LotD.

  15. There's already Bone Spear shatter build and a Blood nova build with Iron rose. My Guess is bone spirit /revive that works like WD Zunni's in a way.

  16. Great ideas, necro definitely needs some love. Can Lancer be alternative to crus as rgk in s20? I havent seen any. Also I havent found any content related to corspe lance in s20. It seems like it is not used at all?

  17. It might be possible, that Blizzard continues to go into the "Defensive Tower" Direction.
    When you think of build for other classes like the DH Marauder, Wizards Hydra or Witch Doctor Mundunugu builds, a Necro build with stationary pets that act as towers could be a worthwhile idea.

  18. Necro is so clunky / squishy. After not playing for years I came back excited to play a necromancer again. Pretty disappointing to say the least. The sets are underwhelming and feel like they have no purpose. And solo GR progression is annoying just trying to avoid everything because you get deleted so easily. Really excels at T16 farm and lvl 90 GR farming. Past that i am just not enjoying it much. Minions have relatively little purpose other than singularity mage on a character that is supposed to be built around summons. It's no wonder I see very few other necros in group play except for designated GR teams/rat necro.

  19. I bought a Necro too but ended up playing Barbarian/Frenzy for S20. Probably will try Necro in S21.
