WHO NEEDS KING KRUSH?? Building a Better OTK with Webweaver Rhinos! | Ashes of Outland | Hearthstone

We’ve been goofing around with a variety of OTK Hunter decks this expansion. We did King Krush, Boars, Angry Chickens, and so much more. But I think this boiled-down version might just be the most consistent and enjoyable of them all!

  1. Don't know if the missing "s" in the thumbnail is intentional, but I love it.

  2. The 0 fun for me? Any and every time my opponent plays Zephrys to deal with something their deck did not tech for in my deck. I hate Zephrys and sadly he is going nowhere for another year.

  3. I personally don't have a lot of frustrations with the current meta. It's just boring now and I can't quite say why I feel this way. No real complaints though. Not nearly as bad as Evolve Shaman during SoU or Control Warrior during RoS lol. Lots of diversity right now.

  4. Imagine if Regis included a game where he sets up the combo, then the opponent plays taunt and he just concedes.

  5. Is fun when you have money to buy the fun and good cards in the meta is not just feel unfair

  6. I saw some lists using Scarlet Webweaver to discount a Zixor Prime or Tundra Rhino, and completing a Quest Hero power either before or along with the combo turn to give them all +2 attack. Tundra + Zixor Prime with one discount is always 8 mana, and hero power for 10 mana combo, 28 damage if they're played on an empty board.

  7. I am not having much fun with the current standard meta. I like playing more on the control side of Hearthstone but with the release of Demon Hunter, which pretty much spelled the death for control decks going forward because all you see is aggro from almost every class to try to out race them since it has been the number 1 deck since AOO released. Either that or they are playing an OTK or endless value generators in the Galakrond decks. I miss the chess match of games that get past turn 8 or 9. These days the game is usually decided by then. I've tried playing wild but aggro is still the majority of what you see there too. I'm a little upset with Blizzard for creating a new class that has completely warped the game into a more aggro meta and that will likely not change in the years to come since the basic Demon Hunter set will be in the game going forward.

  8. As you asked how much fun we have in HS at the moment, I did craft OG Reno and having the rest if the RenoPriest card mostly I ran it in Ranked Wild and I’ll have to say: AnduinDK+Raza is legit
Needless to say, it’s Reno, it’s powerful, it has dragons, yeah I have fun even if all the quest Mages are always winning and the rest is favored

  9. Best secret weapon against taunt. Works especially well against Fellow Humans.

  10. What is the win of this deck? Ive been playing the quest otk King Krush but it has a really low win rate, i suspect this deck will also have a low winrate also

  11. BG is better because everyone is basically on an even playing field. No buying cards to get that stupid net deck. Paying 450 dollars to get every card in the one season isn't a fucking game. It's a racket. Pay to win is not fun. BG you either get lucky average or low roll. You paid 20 bucks a season and that's fair.
