  1. The one MINOR thing that I truly liked about Diablo 3 that I hope to see in 4 is gender selection for your classes. Sure you don’t really get a good view of your character, but the idea of your character’s gender still lingers. I never understood why game developers opt to have gender-locked classes. Such a minor thing that could easily be done with a little bit of coding. When I can choose a gender for my class, I play male because I am male, and this helps me put myself in the character’s shoes much better. I’m not gonna lie but I would be pretty upset if Diablo 4 had gender-locked classes and I’m forced to play a female wizard my whole play through. I rather play a male wizard because again, I can put myself in their shoes, and also I like playing the wizard-type class. So yeah, I liked the gender choices for classes in Diablo 3, and prayers that Diablo 4 will have gender selection.

  2. I just finished, for the first time, standard Diablo 2 campaign. And am off to Lord of Destruction.

I started Diablo with the third installment, but in Diablo 2… Holy hell, fighting Diablo actually made me uneasy. Motherfucker was hard, and the atmosphere actually made me jumpy of fighting him. It made me savour defeating that beast of a Final Boss so much more, man…

Honestly: i'm impressed at the sheer flexibility of Diablo 2's progression system. There are so many ways you can play the same class, it's ridiculous and too much fun. I kinda am saddened that i got into Diablo 2 so late. Playing with other people should've been hella fun.

  3. Ok boomer… D2 is a piece of shit compared to d3.. Only fucking childhood memories make you like d2 more.. Get over it. Fucking d2 had much less diversity and shit to do

  4. I agree with the loot complaint,
disagree with the lore complaints (caveat: I am one of those people who go on the website and read everything to piece together the background story)
don't care about PvP, but would agree if I cared
care a little about modding, so do agree there
disagree with the art style and atmosphere complaints

My biggest gripe that nobody is talking about: Loss of the Horadric Cube and the crafting diversity that it brought.
I will also acknowledge improvements D3 made over D2, this being friendliness to filthy casuals and better graphics. Also quality of life improvements like not having TP or pots take up so much space.

Overall: Okay. Better to have it than to have nothing I suppose.

This coming from someone who has only very recently gotten into D3, and has been playing D2 since childhood.

  5. I love D1 soundtrack, it puts you in a very creepy universe. I can barely concentrate on the video because you put it in and i am so pleased with it. Remembering me old Times of 4-6 years old me with my dad. (I will be 23 soon)
    Well i like D2 soundtrack too. 😉

  6. Excellent video. I was deeply disappointed by Diablo 3, it did so few things better and so many things worse that I've been boycotting Blizzard ever since.

  7. According to Jay Wilson, the reason they did away with attribute points, is because for the majority of cases if you are min-maxing there is only one mathematically right way to do so. That is enough strength to wear the armour you are targeting usually around 120 or 220, 75 dexterity to get good block percentages, 0 energy unless it's an Energy shield sorceress and then everything else in vitality.

  8. To me grinding in D3 is boring. Grinding in D2 can be fun in some instances. Farming and looking for items is also much more fun in D2 because itemization is MUCH better. I mean sets in D3 ruin the idea of choosing your item path. I want to be a ORB sorc. Oh okay it looks like I'm forced down this set path because it gives me 5,000% increased damage. I mean seriously? How lazy is that. A joke.

  9. I disagree with the video. Diablo 2 holds a special place in my heart but I feel d3 is in a good spot right now. You can argue why either game is better until you are blue in the face but the reality is that diablo 3 was a step in the right direction (minus the greedy auction house). Diablo 4 will not be a diablo 2 game with a pretty skin over top so get over it. Stick with diablo 2 because it's not coming back

  10. The real big problems of Diablo 3 are the difficulty of the game (Way too easy), the lack of a proper skill tree that, as Xtimus said, make the game lacking of gameplay variety and finally the uses of weapons… I hate playing a wizard that carry a two handed sword and that never swing the thing.
Now for the graphics, I really don't have any issue with it, I think it is a good looking game. You cannot really go dark with Desert landscape and with heavens…

  11. I don't see how that could be. I don't know a single person that still plays Diablo 2 and I know many people that play 3. What isn't there to like? It's basically the same game, just upgraded.

  12. See I feel like it wasn't different enough. It is just an expansion of Diablo 2. The difference between 1 and 2 is far greater…

  13. 1st Diablo 3 is basically Wow turned to retards who can't think before building the character. 2nd Cartoony. 3rd autostat and no skill trees + well, honestly blizzard flat out lied to everyone saying diablo 2 is way easier than diablo 3. and that is a big big hell no you couldn't live as sor in Diablo 2 hell without 1 ruin word on your merc lol aka infinity .. Oh, when it first came out, their defense was literaly act 1 first zone in NORMAL MODE you know the mode where all us necromancer got most of our army up in before pvping some poor bastard? Which is another note pvp was turned into enter a zone which takes the entire point out of it. Oh and not only that THEY FUCKING KILLED CAIN IN THE 1ST ACT… I'm not against him dying but in the first god damn mother fucking act really atleast let him live to act 2 oh and Cow level BECAME UNICORN RAINBOW PANSY WORLD

  14. I agree that Diablo II was a fantastic game, but I still really like Diablo III, it isn't much of a Diablo game, but it is an enjoyable game to me.

  15. Everything in diablo 2 was perfect and diablo 3 was to easy because in diablo 3 a 2 year old can make a build in diablo 2 you had to sit and think what you want and build it and if it was bad you character was destroyed so you had to respec your character and try again and rune words were awesome I am a player who has played every Diablo game yeah but you was my favorite I spent countless hours days on that game and I had many accounts full of characters I had mule accounts that had every highest Rarity weapon and item in the game on them I had accounts with different types of builds that all the characters were level 99 Diablo 2 is my favorite it was the best one out of all of them it was perfect also the art style and the music is amazing plus the loot system was better.

  16. I also liked that D2 gave u something to do in the endgame with the fun PVP D3 has no endgame …

  17. Sometimes, Devs are just too dumb to realize players only need a remake of a classic game. Resident Evil for example

  18. All i see are people who doesn't know what an hack&slash is and complain about Diablo 3.
Diablo 2 is for boomer Who doesn't appreciate new approach for the game.
Just wonder why games like Diablo 2 are dead and there will be no more games like that.
Maybe the problem isn't Diablo 3, maybe the main problem is you.

  19. The biggest thing for me is just how different the games "feel".

Diablo 2 felt methodical. The enemies felt dangerous. The quest you were on felt important. You felt like one person, a badass no doubt, but one person, struggling against an overwhelming enemy army. And this was helped by the legitimately creepy atmosphere and soundtrack.

Diablo 3 feels almost like it's tailored for the ADHD generation. It has more of an…arcade feel I guess? You're teleporting around, spamming AOE abilities, killing thousands of faceless mooks with billions of damage numbers. Just chasing that DPS number and BIS shinies. It's fast and shiny and ultimately a little shallow.

They're both fun, but they feel like not only distinctly different games, but almost different genres.

  20. graphics : diablo 2
game dynamics : diablo 2 (waaaaaaaay far better)
    atmosphere : diablo 2
love and passion by the game developers : diablo 2
In conclusion, I still hope that diablo immortal is a late april fools joke.

  21. BLIZZARD is runned by Monsters drinker and kpop listener playing no soul games with eletroshitt music.

  22. because many if not most d2 players are boomers and hate everything that is not like they are used to?

  23. You missed an important entry. The good dam Nehalem being revered as stronger than angels and demons. No fear, no feeling of mortality at all

  24. simple D2 For Adults and D3 for Kids no thinking ,just get the set items and level up the leg gems..no brain work…

  25. Diablo 2 é o melhor….conseguiram estragar o jogo…Diablo 3 parece um LOL de terror misturado com MU…tá de sacanagem….
