This would probably never happen but if it did it would be great, I’ve only ever been able to play wow for a month at a time, (using the free trial) with different characters every time, on a crappy laptop. I don’t have enough money for a big p.c. And my laptop just died, (from a miss click on an old website). So I’ve got my ps4 and switch, with no way of getting anything over $800 or so. And I love the rpg part of these games so it would be fun for me.

3. Why not have a keyboard and mouse made for consoles, then there would he no problem if either blizzard or the consoles could do that then the game controls and all wouldnt even need to change

8. With a keyboard and mouse WoW would cake on a gaming console. People assume that just because most MMO's are don't support controllers they won't work on consoles. WoW is one least graphically impressive most PC gamer's have played. Why wouldn't it run well on PS4?

9. With vanilla servers coming putting those wow vanilla servers on Console with cross play would help the game immensly but the only option would be with full keyboard and mouse support

11. I don't think WoW coming to PS4. The PS4 already having weak hardware in it but, it could running on the PS5 down the line in the future.

13. I play wow using a dualshock4 controller with consoleport addon

14. Since ps4 supports keyboard and mouse they could just make the console port require keyboard & mouse, all problems solved. With no problems cross platform and no one would ever know if their top tier healer in their raid was on console or PC.

    With that said. I played WoW vanilla back in the days, I also have played FFXIV for a while now, it works A LOT better then i suspected. WoW classic/vanilla will work perfectly fine without any problems with a controller.

    Anyone that say it will not due to not enough buttons know nothing and have never really tried both, you spit shit out your mouth. You would not be abled to compete vs keyboard + mouse in high level PVP or raid due to targeting which are slightly slower other then that no problems, all PVE content even hardest raids doable. As someone that tried both i would go so far and say you have more buttons quickly accessible on controller then on PC.

    D pad = 4, normal buttons = 4, total 8.

    hold l2 = 8 more, hold r2 = 8more

    Hold l2 + r2 = 8more, r2 + l2 = 8more

    40in total, 32 which are for skills. Rest for other stuff.

    Then you press r1 + o, r1 + x etc ,switch out all those for another setup of 32skill buttons in the blink of an eye for every 8 of the original ones, giving you access to 32 x 8 = 256 easy accessible skill buttons.

    That total of 256 EXTREMELY quick and easy to acess, all this while still have your finger on movestick(wasd on pc). There’s no way at all you have that many buttons accessible without moving your hand away from WASD on PC, actually giving the control an advantage here.

    Easy acessable buttons = advantage controller.

    Targeting + of course text chat = advantage keyboard + mouse.

15. I suck ass with a mouse and keyboard, so I used a PS4 controller for my PC and I could use all my abilities with ease and hold my own in dungeons and raids, the only challenge was being a healer.

18. War craft would be awesome on console. It’s already tons of content that comes with it and when it comes to MMOs just look at games like Dcuo, Terra, and more which have become outstanding games to play on console

    As for WoW on console, I'd actually love a single player variant. Why? You said it yourself those idiot fanboys would get butthurt simply because someone would have the option to play it on console. It's stuff like this that makes me stick with single player games.

24. People overthink this shit consistently. Basically start with wow classic but build it like Diablo III and cut down to that level of skills to use with passive abilities or the tallent tree's. Then add dungeon runs for co-op or online play fucking duh

35. People just need to stop expecting games that play like World of Warcraft to come to console. It will not work. It is not like Final Fantasy online or Elder Scrolls Online where they were both designed around PC and console

36. biggest problem i have with WoW are the minimum requirements, my pc is so fast outdated that it will cost me thousands of euro's just to keep up all those expansions. At some point i lost the will to upgrade my personal computer again and again and again.
