  1. The sound design for this game is so good. Not just the music but especially the visceral nature of the sound effects, flesh clan and unseen are very satisfying to slay.

    Your stat allocation is fine imo. Personally I always like to put a tiny bit into magic even as a warrior, just so I can cast 1 town portal spell and have a use for the random magic potions I might find.

    On Aidan's deteriorating mental state, that's very interesting you say that. As he goes deeper into the dungeon, I feel it becomes increasingly clear that he's not going to find any more townsfolk alive. The game also provides less quests later on, which is likely a result of the rushed development (lots of cut content for this game that was fully voice acted, worth checking out! Some of it ended up being reworked into D2). But the decreasing amount of quests kind of makes sense in that story context, knowing what Aidan ends up doing in the end. We can assume his own mental state is put severly to the test from the way the rogue and the sorcerer characters turn out after their 'victory' in Tristram.
