1. For being the 1997, the graphics on this game is just awesome. First time seeing this game in almost 20 years, and it still looks great with so much detail.

8. I remember being a young boy play Diablo (This and Quake). Great game during it's time. Diablo 3 is better though. Lets not let Nostalgia get in the way of facts. Those that are saying Diablo 3 sucks are either stuck in the past or kids that were born in the late 90's trying to act cool on the Internet. Diablo 3 is better than the original in every way.

I only had the demo for this on a win 95 game sampler cd when i was a kid and remember spending many hours trying to beat it but it was damn near impossible not only because of game itself being hard but theres something about it that just feels so amazingly scary even compared to games nowadays. Oh also D3 has nothing on the original, Blizzard have definitely gone down the wrong path by modernising the graphics to the point where the scary-ness is taken away because it looks and feels like any old generic rpg made in the last few years. I think the main thing about the original was that the graphics were perfect and being slightly pixelated just emphasised the fear factor, D2 followed this similarly and I loved that as well, but yeah, D3, a bit disappointing really.

12. I feel bad for all the children growing up today, blissfully playing pay2win / early access / half assed games. I didnt know as a kid, but games like Diablo 1 & 2 were pinnacle in the progression and innovation of video games. Nothing will ever be like playing Diablo 1-2 in the late 90s early 00s. Thanks, Blizzard.

14. I gave diablo 3 a try again. Honestly, it's still not nearly as immersive as the previous 2 games. Diablo 3 might have gotten the graphics and some mechanics right, but the atmosphere is crap.

17. 20 years ago my brother and I spent many hours playing this co-op on PS1. All these years later we now play Diablo 3 co-op. Sometimes life really can be awesome!
