WTF is tht chest peice, i have been playin this since i was lil and highest ive found is Full plate armour, spose i havnt made it to hell on highest difficulty coz i keep starting again

i remember when i played sorc i had the wand that had the infinit hell fire or w.e its called the spell that made rocks fly out of the sky people called me a cheater because it was so rare to find
@Reginahomeboy I ve never been able to fill every empty sockets in my spellbook in diablo 1 although I was addicted and had a level 43 sorcerer
but I had apocalypse, the spell that let everything explode
@thorium222 cool its always the old games of one series that are usally the best out of all of them
What level are your Teleport and Chain Lightning spells? I have a 29 Sorcerer and those 2 spells cost him too much mana to be using as much as you do. ( I have around 320 mana)
@EricShenanigans no I didnt use a staff at all, just the spellbook, but later on I played hellfire expansion
I think I wore a unique mace and a shield later on, but I dont remember exactly 🙂
Its been more than ten years and the character is gone allong with the computer

@thehill2240 I used to have the exact same problem. You need to install the latest codec pack and it should be alright. Let me know how it goes. =)
Dude that's no fun at all. Try "The Hell" mod, see if you can run around one-hit killing everything…
@thorium222 its a long shot but are you the same person who wrote a guide for each class. the person stated that he lost his lv 48 scorcerer many yrs back.
@SeekJesus18 i just love how the game is only giving me 2 spells. fir bolt and holy bolt. then when i reach lv 5 with fire immune bats im fucked. it happened twice in a row as i loaded my character and started again to see if id get diferent spells but i didnt.

@cjjtheone try saving and loading in front of Adria the witch and see if her inventory will suit your needs, i think that's a good strategy, it'll help you find and buy the book that'll suit your needs 😉
@SeekJesus18 thanks man that really helped me out. lv 25 scorcerer now. theres just one thing thats bothered me ever sice i started with a warrior. whats the diference between armor and armor class (armor 34 — armor class 25) ?
its annoying because when it comes to choosing armor, im lost

@cjjtheone it's basically the same, in your case maybe you have an item that lowers armor by percentage, but i'm not sure. Glad to hear you've made progress, have fun =)

Been having fun playing as the sorcerer but I got to hell and the stupid blood knights are almost impossible to kill due to there stupid immunities and resists
@cjjtheone You can buy "spellbooks" from Adria that teach you different types of spells.
Lightning spells would definitely do well against those fire-immune bats.
Elemental spells will do damage to magic-immune monsters.
the sorceror was always the most boss character for killing en masse

I've heard some say playing a mage is the hardest class to play in this game. BUUUUULLSHIT. This makes me proud to be a caster. xP

How do you have fireball at lvl 19 with magic of 324? I only got it to lvl 10 with magic at 255?Like the character though
Sorry. Just realised that after lvl 10 fireball, need only same magic up to lvl 15 lol!! Do you have to go online to get spells past level 15? After this, adding books doesn't seem to advance the spell level
