Edit: Since people commented about it a lot — Yes you can use Enigma, COH, crescent moon or what else you like. I find this set-up I showed to be the best for me. Might aura on my merc is also something I just prefer, always been into making my merc strong, but the cold aura for sure gives some safety 🙂
If you use Enigma (I prefer it over COH) you loss like 1.5k sheet dmg, but gain a lot of life and other survival stats. Crescent moon is a very mixed bag, most people would not use it, but this needs a lot of testing to see whats best. Crescent moon is only for the -35 light res, as it gives nothing else really.

Yes light sorc is best in game. I have a bot with over 2000 mf runs with 0 deaths.
having merc with might is pretty pointless
I find that throwing in a chain lightning and then spamming lightning bolts helps your damage out alot, the cl bounces around mobs as you line up your truck level lightning bolt, slamming mobs for half their hp.

You use charged bolt and then complain about how you kill slow….. you only use lightning and you avoid attacks. When I play my sorc everything dies before I ever get hit. Just because you dont vibe with that game play doesn't mean the sorc is weak. Also I disagree with your gest choices.
Yes lite sorc is best and strongest sorc build.your gear is trash no wonder u cant survive.

Hey ur items is a good but fail stats for farm or sup or PvP is fail full stats of point I play sorc PvP or when I help others boss run normal to he'll or LVL up ball I stay inside on monsters party and drink coffee have fun why u all think u feel old players or pro items shows on YouTube make or call about builds and bullshiz u can't run or call best sorc u can tell dope items yea u need more more learn what's mean blocks and defence and why is matter u just food vs any char PvP die like cow moo moo cry u die vs mobs or on diablo lol this sick fail stats for newbs and fan who follow u shame for u good items fail sorc.
I believe chain lightning also has the same break point as lightning… but I see some guides online where they say it is 115 fcr and not 117…did it change between patch versions?

use crescent moon instead of eschutas and those light immunes will melt.

0:25 I don't agree with that. Frozen Orb cleans the screen, assuming that they are not imune to cold.
Just relentless cold damage in all directions, even outside of view.
It also has the advantage of slowing them down.
lite sorc is the best hell build. yes dual builds can clear hell but end up always in a corner with one pack or the other. lite sorc with properly equiped merc can make QUICK work of ANYTHING. thunderstorm is a waste of point. your better off investing into firewall for 1 point and fire mastery for 1 point to get a secondary element to make certain unbreakable mobs slightly quicker to clear. with skill buffs and fire mastery synergy u get about 3k damage on fire wall paired with infinity on merc and firewall becomes a crazy damage dealer for 5 points in fire alone. may very well be the best build if not for the fact u cant max lite nova till 99

lol sorry im nit picking again… rewatched the video… 86% fhr is needed right? 55%(shield), 10%(boots), 24%(2 skill charms), 10% (2 small charms) thats a lil more than 86% btw…. probably stick with shiled, boots and 2 skill charms for 89% fhr
