Shite, I played Diablo 1 to the end last week, but I have never met with this big son of a Bones.
It's random every time you play a new game you will either fight 'The butcher' or 'King Leoric'. Diablo 1 has more of this random events that that switch every time you start a new game.
I once had to kill The Butcher and King Leoric, all in one game 0_0
But then probably you missed another (random) event, perhaps the chamber of bones,

Diablo 1 skeletons are weaker against blunt weapons. Demons more with swords.
in d1 you could easily go multiclass. i hated the absence of it in d2.

I found King Leoric's treasure chest, over 100.000 in Gold!! thy master is called Greed Eternal. All hail King Leoric This game is pure genius & i think that its much better than Diablo 2
the character reminds me of ash williams while he kills skeletons
Does anyone else agree that Leoric was cooler when he had a massive sword (Diablo 1) than when he had a two-handed mace (Diablo 3)?
