How to farm high runes: You don't farm them. You farm keys with sorc. Much more consistent. 3-4 hours farming 4-6 HRs easily.
Unless you play SP, then you can farm cows 😀

Daily reminder that magic find does not affect rune drops, only magical, rare, set and unique drops. But of course stacking it will make you find items to sell for a profit.
Getting 1 HR or 1HR worth of gear every 15 runs is insane luck. I'm 500 runs deep (more i stopped counting at 500) of Trav, pits, cows, frigid, CS, and now 6 maps and my highest drop has been an Ist. So…1 HR every 15 runs is insane luck.
