  1. OK, if anyone is having the same problems I had, here's how I fixed them. There are a few more options you should check in the compatibility tab: select "Reduced color mode" and 16-bit color, and select "Disable fullscreen optimizations". Also, you may have to run D2VidTst; you can find it in the Diablo II directory. Apply all the same options to the compatibility tab for that program, and then run that (and follow the instructions). After that, my game ran.

  2. You are just showing us where to get the download. Where do you save it and with what name. Ugh this making me angry man I downloaded the stupid megasync and downloaded the dang filed and it's already installed man wtf this isn't helpful for where to put it.

  4. I get a DLL Error! Cannot find suitable ijl11.dll, Make sure you have the right D2Coreplugin installed for D2 Version 1.13c, or place this dll inside Mod/Language_xxx or Modfolder.
    anyone got any suggestions?

  5. What do I do if I already have D2 and D2 LOD? Do I simply uninstal them and reinstal via these steps?

  7. i deleted my d2 and d2 LoD and now tried to install it. when i open the Folder "enUS" then "d2-1.12A-enUS" the install window opens and the first button is "PLAY d2" instead of "install" when i click it nothing happens. can u help me what i can do? thanks in advance

  8. Hi MrLlamaSC =) I like your videos alot! There is a flaw in the PlugY coding, im not sure if you are familiar with it? It causes some players to crash with the error message Unhandled Exception Access Violation C0000005. I know how to fix this for PlugY The Survival Kit. But for D2SE i cant find the same files cause they are imbeded in D2SE. The flawed coding is in the file LocalizedStrings.ini line 150 where a % is placed on the wrong side of a letter. Do you know how to find this file for D2SE ?

  12. This video was extremely helpful, thank you! There were a few additional steps I had to do. Since I already had version 1.14 installed on my C drive, I renamed the "Diablo II" folder to "Diablo II-1.14". After that, the ISO installations worked. Then I got d2se and the 1.13c patch and installed them wherever I installed the new "Diablo II" folder. I might have missed info about 1.13c patch if this video mentioned it… it was required for me and you can find it here: https://www.moddb.com/games/diablo-2-lod/downloads/lod-patch-113c-for-windows

  15. After extracting my enUS folder and then double click D2-1.12A-enUS it asks me to burn a disc. and does not open further to let me install. Unsure where to go from here.

In download links you have 1.12 and 1.13 patches which both are ok but… when i went to download D2SE, it specifies in the site that PlagY works only for up to 1.12..? and in your video later, when you run D2SE, you choose 1.13?? SO what is the case with that? Can i download 1.13 and run D2SE (even though it says compatible with up to 1.12) or i should get 1.12 patch??? PLEASEEE pass me your wisdom on the above, THANKS a lot! 🙂 (If anyone knows the answer feel free to jump in)

  21. Hey how did you install two separate versions of the game, when i go to install the earlier version it just says play Diablo II, no option to install.

  24. This comment if for anybody that just wants Plugy and doesn't care about bnet. Mr Llama's video works if you just install the 1.12 versions of the game and then D2SE. However some people have an issue when playing windowed mode where if you try to maximize the window, glide doesn't display the game properly and basically crunches it into a small window in the lower left corner of the maximized window display. To fix that, just run the video test in D2se and when it's finished choose the d2 direct draw solution and it should be fixed. This caused a lot of confusion for me because I overlooked the video test and tried to fix it in other ways. It's simple, yet a bit misleading.

    To be able to use D2SE I had to downgrade my game from 1.13d to 1.13c, but when I transfer my saved files into the new D2SE folder I cannot play my characters.
    Is it possible at all to downgrade the game and play your characters or am I stuck with 1.13d?

  37. Should I lose sleep over my D2 Plugy being v 1.13 and not 1.13c??? I cannot get it to 1.13c no matter what I do. Is there a huge difference between 1.13 and 1.13c?

  40. I see some active comments on here. I'm still trying to get this to work. I uninstalled my other game so I hope I can get this. Some reason I cant get the 1.13c I just get 1.13 or 1.14d (if in patch from battle.net) so when I run SE it
    DLL Errror
    Cannot find suitable ijl11.dll
    D2Coreplugin installed for D2 v1.13c or place this dll inside mod/language_xxx or modfolder. I dont even know what the last part means

  49. So every time I try and install this. It says Windows is searching for median xl launcher .exe and I don’t know how to fix it.

  50. will i be able to keep saves from 1.14 after installing plugy mod nor my characters in single will go useless?
