Part 4 of the Diablo II Cinematics.
Movie is shown in the game between the end of Act III and the beginning of Act IV.

Marius:
I did as you told me, Tyrael. I found the Temple of the Zakarum. In the deepest recesses of the Temple, I found a dark gathering. My companion, the Wanderer… Tal Rasha… and a great Evil who could only be the Lord of Hatred himself — Mephisto. I heard a voice then… like a thousand needles in my heart…

Mephisto:
My brothers, at long last we stand reunited. The Infernal Gate has been prepared, and the time of our final victory is at hand. Let the way to Hell be opened!

And the Evil that was once vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies shall rain fire, and the seas will become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked, and all of Creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!

Marius:
What I saw then was not meant for mortal eyes…

Mephisto:
The Gate stands ready!

Now my young brother, the time has come to assume your true form! Arise Diablo, Lord of Terror!

You are the harbinger of our return Diablo! Send forth your Terror into Hell!

  10. Marius’s voice acting is out of this world. His words are carved into my brain from playing this game too young

  13. True we got to fight Diablo in Hell, but where was he in the sequal? Trying to bind the Heavens to his will, but it wasn't enough.

    Blanc did a good job voicing Diablo in Diablo III if you ask me.

  15. Does Tyrael really expect Marius to go through the hell gate, find the Hell Forge and fight Hephasto to destroy the soulstone?

  18. “Send forth your terror into Hell.” Isn’t Hell terrifying enough on its own? I mean do they really need more terror?

  19. So, I just watched this crazy video where a guy dissects the current pope's words to somehow conclude that he worships the devil.

    The comments were creepy as hell, full of "Jesus is the only way" or "We must cast out the servants of satan".

    I can't help but wonder what would happen if I were to drop Mephisto's lines straight into the comments section of that video.

  23. Love how Tyrael sends Marius to hell to get a hammer from a demon to destroy a soulstone, the same task he also gives to 7 powerful warriors that has a hard time doing that

  25. Marius should've come running up to the three and asked if he could hang out with them. I mean he freed Tal'Rasha and traveled with Diablo. I'm sure they wouldn't mind at all!
