  1. "Quickly in and quickly out is all the advice I can give you."  Deckard Cain
So glad I found your channel, Dash! I've been a huge fan of Diablo 2 since picking up the game and Lord of Destruction expansion in early 2002.
I've been playing RPG's since 1980 and a huge Fallout geek since 1998. So, I have literally played tens of thousands of hours of these older games. Yet, I just discovered that it was possible to skip saving Cain during your last video. I complete every quest in every play. So, that was an interesting piece of lore that I likely would never have encountered otherwise. So, thank you.
I've really enjoyed your Diablo 2 videos and look forward to any additional content you plan to provide. My son played D1 and I watched him play but started with D2 myself. These games are still favorites today. In my current save I just made it through the Arcane Sanctuary, read Horazon's journal and opened up the Canyon of the Magi. I still play D3 as well.
I still have all my original CD's for all my old games; D2, Fallout 1&2, Doom 3, CnC, Half-Life & Half-Life: Blue Shift and many other classics. Yet, after seeing your videos on the cut content now available for D1, I am seriously considering going back to the beginning to start over.
Many thanks, Phat 🙂 Adventure on friend!

  2. she was based on a real person Elizabeth Bathory from hungary. country seems to be abundant with such women. go to badoo or other dating app, set location to hungary and swap through the them. women there has something bloodthirsty in their eyes

  3. Not burned alive, buried alive. Which is worst… that I don't know…

  4. Less interested in treasure? Diablo’s biggest trope was “Loot EVERYTHING!”. Saving the world seemed incidental.

  5. Strangely, the voice acting and text from the moldy tome is far better in french version! Very strange because we french eople are used to get horrible traduction in movies and video games. Blizzard was a very great studio in this times!

  6. "How much sorrow one can endure is tested there." Cain is speaking of the runs we do for the runes we want

  7. Like'd and sub's
can you do a video like this for every qeust? explaining maybe more of the back lore from website's.
    This was awesome thank you.

  8. Can't forget that deep relevant lore of "Gloom Bite the Impaler" on floor 2.

Was expecting some unknown lore from the devs not just reading what's on the screen regardless of relevance.

  9. no need to doddle about it she was resurrected as an undead … in blood fo a 100 virgins we as players go in deep inside her tower kill her steal her treasure and go back to town you're welcome 🙂 (i just said long story short :D)

  10. Diablo 1: Sees book on a pedestal "Ooh a book, time to read" opens book

Diablo 3: Sees a book on a pedestal "PEDESTAL SHOW ME YOUR SECRETS!" slaps book off pedestal, hits ground and opens "Ooh a book!"

  11. She wasn't slain… it said in the tome she was buried alive. You misspoke 10 seconds later and then reference it incorrectly. Just thought you'd like to know incase you wanted to add edits. btw love the content, just a little helpful criticism. 😀

  12. I can't speak for she's real within diabolos Lord but she is real with an actual human history cuz her name is Elizabeth Bathory and yes she was more than a little psycho

  13. I remember the first time I played this I totally thought the Countess dropped a ton of gold. The game was so new to me that I didn't have a sense of the value of anything. Disappointing when you realize that the only thing of particular value you get from it is the rune.
