  1. Film hipster mode but I think preferred the Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but maybe that's because I saw the Swedish version first. Both version are really good too.

Rocky 2 is simple but really enjoyable, the third ones is decent as well.

I haven't seen the other two films you watched this month though so I will have to look out for them!

  2. LOVE THIS IDEA GAL! I still haven't gotten around to Dragon Tattoo or Rocky 2 (such sadness) but I hope to eventually! Cannot wait to see you get to the bottom of that mason jar! Good luck!

  3. Loved this! Personally, I love the Swedish Dragon Tattoo trilogy — they have a much more authentic feel to them, and I prefer Noomi Rapace to Rooney Mara by far. I just read the books as well 🙂 Awesome mix of movies! Can't wait to hear what you think about your next picks 🙂

  4. TGWTDT was very well done. David Fincher was the perfect director and Rooney Mara was outstanding as Lisbeth. I am very upset that they have officially canned the rest of the trilogy. I read the whole trilogy and I feel that even though I was not such a fan of the way the story ended it was such a great and original one. If you want to see Robert Redford in some great films you must see Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid and The Sting if you haven't yet.

I haven't seen The Last Emperor or Cape Fear (and I am a huge Martin Scorsese fan) I am very curious to hear your thoughts.
