  1. Usually I play this game with 2 characters: tank and heal. This the best way to level up character to the highest level

  2. Skyrim with a follower uncapper mod. Walk into town with 20+ followers and kill EVERYTHING. Still only control one person though :/

  6. I can understand the medicinal argument to a point. Let's be honest when a doctor signs you a description, you will use the exact amount even when you dont know whether it will be good for you or not. You trust them. So I see the potion use in ither games as more = is better because they would be dead anyway. Only after many trials would they know the exact amount which would be kinda interesting rpg mechanic.

  9. So basically this game is Ultima 7 with no plot, puzzles, or item scrounging.
    "… ANOTHER thing I love in RPGs: NO ENEMY RESPAWNING!" Oh god, I hate that. It always makes me paranoid when I can't fight more stuff for resources or the like and it makes me feel constricted that I can't just go and play with the combat system… though I suppose that bit isn't much of a problem when the combat system is mostly just click-and-forget.
    They would HAVE to have a license to have a Beholder in the game. I'm guessing that's a similar but legally distinct monster. Also, the skull could be an upscaled, underpowered Demilich.
    Wait, the Kingdom of Ehb? The Uwe Boll movies were set in the multiplayer map?
    "… fantastic idea that's begging to be copied by another game…" Like I said, Ultima VII, ten years before Dungeon Siege, except it's also kind of a graphic adventure game at the same time…? 8 characters and you can run in there and smack some heads.

  13. you had a very similar party system with up to 7 companions is ultima VII part 1 (1992) and i think 4 in part 2

  20. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is another Action-RPG where you play as a posse, but admittedly it's much less of an RPG and doesn't provide the journey-style linear experience.

  22. User interfaces in old games being too small at high resolutions is one reason why I keep a CRT monitor around. Being able to change the resolution to something lower and still have it look crystal clear can be a lifesaver for old games that don't have a way to scale the UI. I would absolutely love it if there was a new display technology that could do that.

  24. I loved this game so much!
    There's actually a mod to get the artifacts to see the ending of the multiplayer game, if you don't want to do the whole game to see it.
    Also, there are a couple of shortcuts in the game. One allowed you to go from the first town to the last one. You would get one shot by the enemies of course, but if you're cautious (or if you use a mod to up your levels instantly) then you can make it. I was amazed when I found this shortcut, that was brilliant!

  27. I always play as a mage, and everybody else in my squad are archers. Wizard, dwarf, swordman? I don't care, take this bow and shoot while I cast fireballs.

  35. The multiplayer is only good for LAN parties with a few friends. I played through the entire MP campaign with 4 friends back in the day and it was awesome.

  37. Dungeon Siege lol I remember playing this game a while back. I remember getting to a dungeon that was littered with signs saying "abandon hope all ye who enter here" or something like. It was fittingly called the pit of despair iirc. I got lost in there, for a long time, and kinda quit lol. Dungeon's purpose, successful.

  42. I always thought the plot of Dungeon Siege was that you found a weapon and decided to see what it does.
    Then you decided to see where the next path went. And that till the end.

  44. What skill in Diablo? Excuse me? You try carrying a snap shot of damage through multiple levels, while maintaining buffs and cycling enemy groups to ensure that you never lose stacks. And thats ONE build. Love your content but sometimes you talk some real shit lol

  46. Bro you should try Dungeon siege LEGENDARY MOD it mods your dungeon siege 2 with dungeon siege 1 and legends of arrana maps you can play whole Dungeon siege 1 and 2 with same character and build him up from Dungeon siege 1 story to end of DS2 its amazing
