The Story of The Traveler, Little Gem of [Lore] about Mueh'Zala

The traveler series consists of 3 books that follow the journey of Aram and Makasa through the world of Azeroth after the Cataclysm. Some neat little lore nuggets can be found, so lets talk about the global story and things that stood out for me… I hope you’ll enjoy ^_^

  1. I love these books. I bought the first for my son who has a language delay to practice reading with and they’re amazing. I probably liked them more than my son did.

  2. I legit thought the traveler lore would be about the player character

  3. I have spent almost 2 years speculating about Mueh'zala, working from that passage in the Traveler… but I never stopped to think about Shadra in there… did she truly feared the daughter of Cenarius? And if so, this is interesting and I need to truly ponder about it.

  4. I haven't read the third one because it came out while I was taking a break from WoW, but I absolutely adored the first two. We need more lower scale stories like this.

  5. Interestingly, both Aramar Thorne and Lucan Foxblood (from Stormrage) are two examples of "normal" human druids in Warcraft lore. So good ol' human druids are perfectly possible! I'd love it if Blizz eventually gave us them to play. Not worgen that can turn into humans, or thicc Kul Tirans (though their animal forms are awesome).

  6. Dude can you start talking normal? Why you use the narration voice lol You arent a dwarf in Ironforge inn you speak about books wtf..You sound like the goth kids from southpark

  7. I loved this series, it warms my heart to see one of my favorite youtubers make a video on it. <3

  8. Wait a second. Mueh'zala's form shifting might be do to what is most likely to kill you in the future. So if The Jailor is Mueh'zala then that means his leaked appearance is all the more telling of what we (The Player) are up against.

  9. Got the first one on audible like 3 years ago expecting to find it very childish… BUT beside a slow start it was actually one of the best warcraft book to be honest.. thanks for remembering me to get the two others on audible!! spoiled or not I will listen to it.. the narrator is actually freakin on point and the story actually has potential to dive deeper into the ''light' MORE' than any others books ironicaly even tho it suposed to be ''a kid book'' haha

  10. Love your content it helps me sleep, in a good way very soothing and entertaining

  11. I loved the WoW Traveler books, but book three was very hasty and videogamey in ways that clashes harshly with the more grounded survival permeating the first two books.

I feel like book three should have been books 3 — 5, because the callbacks and bookends start early and heavy with 3.

  12. Tfw I'm torn between having nobbel tell me the story and him telling me to turn off the video so I can read the story myself 😨😨😨

  13. I didn’t love them, but I had a period of a few hour drives over a few weeks, the audio was entertaining enough.

  14. wow. ive never been so sucked in. i had to stop because i genuinely want to read this book and to my daughter as well.

  15. Hey Nobbel! I am a big big fan of all your videos! Its like u are the best history teacher :))
Could you please make a Video on Marshall Reginald Windsor ( Quest for Onyxia Attunement ) and his heroic deeds? The guards are thrilled to see him on that escort quest!
Please forgive my ignorance if you have already done it and i did not find it!
    Keep being awesome!!!

  16. I know it's stupid, but watching videos of the lovingly crafted stories that take place inside the living, sprawling world of Azeroth really, REALLY reminds me of how neglected the game world feels. Whenever I log in, it's all about the rep grind and getting those Azerite essences and shit like that, and it's never about finding Mankriks wife, or aiding little Aram on his quest, or even meeting him somewhere.

I just want World of Warcraft 2, where we start fresh and everything is new and awesome and looks like the art they present outside the game… (And please stop with that shitshow called BFA Blizzard…)
