2. just about how i'd expect an online only to go in "early access". if people think this is cause they're new, i've been playing beta's that got twitch popular suddenly and i can say this isn't unique. but i see the review bombing has begun… emotional edgelords these days.

13. I'm confused, I thought they changed away from being an MMO, and it looked and felt much smoother a year ago.

15. Firstly thanks for the gameplay, I now know not to buy this game. I'm beyond disappointed. As many people have said, this looks like a mobile game that got ported to pc. The FOV is atrociously narrow/zoomed in, the maps are streamlined and barely provide any opportunity for exploration, and the enemy count is so low it looks like a moba lane sometimes instead of an arpg. I mean torchlight 2 released 8 YEARS AGO meaning we waited at least half of a decade for THIS? Not to mention that it was supposed to be released summer 2020 not early access in essentially late alpha early beta state. Fuck this game and fuck this company.

25. This game looks like it should be remade entirely to be a "Torchlight" PC game, not a poor mobile port. We live in terrible times, where devs only want money, but don't want to put any soul in their games. Of course it's not with every dev, but there are more and more cases as years go by. First Diablo 3 being totally soulless and overall trash, then Wolcen, and now Torchlight 3. After i saw the news about them reworking the game and renaming it to Torchlight 3, i had a little hope, but now it's gone. It's sad, because there's only PoE and Grim Dawn left, also Last Epoch is promising, but that's the future. Diablo 4 will probably be casual as fuck to cater to console players and i don't believe that they will make it right and lean more towards hardcore. Disappointed.

40. I refunded it. Luckily Steam accepted my request despite surpassing the 2+ hour cap. I'll check it out again for changes in 6 months or so, but I don't expect there will be enough to bring me back. There is little to no build diversity in a genre where games like Path Of Exile exists…disappointing because I was looking forward to this one.

47. I like the video, gameplay videos like this without commentary. Strait to the point and no silly extenders.
    Unfortunately I hate the game as of now. I like TL 1 and absolutely love TL 2 (bought it 5x yes 5x, 3 for my friends, 1 steam and 1 GOG version for me). What I value the most is the game's independence from internet requirement and DRM. If TL 3's devs are planning to go along with online ONLY multiplayer, I'm gonna say pass because aside from the issues you will be encountering with online only play, this game's format looks like a glorified mobile game! And I'm calling it now, this WILL HAVE a mobile version to milk all the micro transaction technique available.
