My first tavern game after the update, I planned on doing a Tier 1 Ysera but I ended up getting a triple way too fast so I kept going up with all these Red Whelps. They're extremely strong vs Juggler demons and mechs. Sniping the divine shields from the Cobalt Guardians made this so easy. It also has good synergy with Togwaggle.
Forever Tier 1 Ysera? Probably not that good. But I do think staying on it for a few turns to gather your whelps isn't a bad strategy.

Yesterday I got 3 golden Red Whelps pretty fast with Ysera! and I filled my board with dragons :3
I got 7th place :c

You didnt get enough whelps soon enough, the more whelps you have early game, the better off you are, i got second place with a 11 Red Whelp build, it was glorious…

Need a dragon that triggers "Start of Combat" twice, 3x for gold. 5 golden whelps + 2 of this gold dragon = 7 x 2 x 5 x 3 x 2 = 420 damage YOLO.
