Hi everyone, this is Laura Shigihara… you might know me as the Plants vs. Zombies singer/composer. This is my first World of Warcraft machinima, so I hope you like it (please go easy on me) ^_^ I made it because I really want to play as a Blood Elf Druid, and I thought this would be a good way to tell Blizzard how I feel. The music video is about a Blood Elf who goes on a quest to learn more about nature and talk to Druids from around the world.
For those who didn’t catch the reference, the elf with sunglasses is «addicted» to Blood Thistle which is an herb that can be found in the Eversong Woods area… it goes along with the whole «addicted to magic» thing I suppose 😛

I don't exactly see much support for the Sin'dorei or even the Quel'dorei practicing druidic magic. The Sin'dorei are a product of their Quel'dorei ancestors becoming extremely dependent on magic, the reason why Arthus's march through Quel'thalas was so devastating. They care more about siphoning magic from the land than working with the land itself. The other races have reason for being druids: the Kal'dorei, twisted reflections of the Highborne, have a dependence on magic, but their magic is the magic of nature, which is why they are druids and live off of the World Tree that once made them immortal. The Tauren have shamanic connections with the spirits of nature, and the trolls also hold spiritual bonds with the earth. The Worgen of Gilneas are druids because the Worgen form is a result of Kal'dorei druids experimenting with shapeshifting. Great song though! ^_^

How did I stumble on this video only today? So I main a troll druid, but normally I play blood elf. Druid is my favorite class by far and well, blood elf is my fav. race obv. So since like forever, I'd love to be able to play a Blood elf Druid! Your song is so accurate and best of it, it's really well sung! Love the text and your voice 🙂 thanks for that! I still hope there will be that option one day… @Blizzard please?
